The NICE Programme

In 2013, after a good few collaborative projects together, fellow artist Vicky Holbrough and I embarked on a new project called NICE. Nice stands for Next steps In Creative Experience and is a programme of activity that works with early stage artists. More info can be found at www.nicenortheast.co.uk. It was a great project to be involved in, with some crackin early stage artists! It made me think about my practice, reflect on how I would like to develop further and also get inspiration from 6 talented individuals. We also went on a whole load of trips to a variety of artists studios, organisation and galleries around the North East. We also went over for a tour of Leeds with East Street Arts.

This isn't the end of NICE either. We're hoping to get further funding to run it again.
